Description

This poster I designed for a musical written by my friend Ellie, in which the Dark Lord conquors his sadness and dances through the hills to the sounds of music.

The style is heavily based upon my visualisation of the staging for the production which involved styalised mechanical goats, and disproportionate rolling hills.

I used Rhinoceros 3D to build each of my shapes, rendering them separately. I then composited the whole thing in Photoshop. This prevented the unnecessary and sometimes 'too real' shadows that come from raytracing, and meant I could play with layer blending to detach each object further from any permenant sense of reality.
